Quentin is our most successful show stallion, whose career started as a foal when he won at the National Breed Show. When he was three he had a fabulous Breed Show winning his class, junior miniature champion, overall miniature ring champion and finished up Supreme Champion of the show. He has carried on winning numerous championships here and has also won gold medals at International Shows. He passes on his wonderful type to his stock several of which have also been Breed Show winners themselves.

Spikey is a lovely boy who isn't very happy to leave his mares so is only shown occasionally, usually in September when he has finished covering his mares. He has been miniature champion  at Westmorland County, Bowes and Wolsingham shows. His beautiful foals include Autumn who has been successful for owner Becky, Delilah who has won countless prizes for owner Clare and Evie who has just won her first junior championship for owner Iraynor.

Zephyr is a son of Quentin and Poppy who is palomino which has resulted in his lovely colour. He has had a lot of showing success and is pictured here winning the junior championship at the National Breed Show when he was just two (thankyou to Jodie for the lovely photo) He was also reserve junior champion as a 3 yr old at the Ardingly Breed Show and has gone on to win many more championships as a senior. Zephyr has the most amazing temperament and lovely movement.

Not all of our stallions are shown but it doesn't mean that they are any less important to the stud. The stallions that we choose to show are usually ones that have been shown from a young age so they are well used to everything and it is a lot easier to keep taking them out than to start educating another one so Joost is one of our boys who has never left home but he has thrown us some stunning stock that have been sold all over the world. He is one of our smallest stallions and has a very sweet nature and great movement.

Ulrik is a son of Quentin and Elsa, two of our most successful ponies in the show ring. He himself won a gold medal in Germany at the International Show as a yearling and was overall junior champion at both Westmorland County and Bowes as a 2 yr old amongst other winnings.

He is throwing us some exceptional stock including Cherry Blossom and Dorothy (both owned by Ron and DorothyRoberts) who have both won many junior championships already.

Indigo is a very handsome boy who is now 23 yrs old. He is sometimes leased out to good homes as he is so easy to manage and knows his job. He has sired some wonderful foals including Rupert (a licensed son now in the Czech Republic), Queen Bee (who was champion mini yearling at the International Show in Belgium) and Quail who is one of our best brood mares. Indie has bags of bone, a lovely head and a wealth of mane and tail.

Ulysses is an 11 yr old piebald stallion with some lovely Island bloodlines. He is a grandson of a mare that Mum bought from lauraine Manson called Swarthoull Sweetie after she spotted her on a trip to Shetland in 1990. Ully's sire is Parlington Owen who is a half brother to Quentin.

Valentine is a young son of Maverick's who has been lent to a friend for a few years. She has only used him lightly but the foals that he has thrown for her have been lovely including a roan and white filly who has done really well in the show ring. Valentine is one of our smaller boys and has some lovely Fairy lines in him from his Dam, Rosebud.
